What would you like to do?

Change my account's password through Element X on Android.

Why would you like to do it?

This is a basic account function, available in the "Classic" Android client, the desktop client and many non-Element clients. Its lack of inclusion in Element X could very well be a bug.

How would you like to achieve it?

A settings menu option is conventional.

Passwords are managed outside of EXA, by the Matrix Authentication Service (MAS). You can get there via the Manage Account & Devices link at the top when you click on your account avatar to get to general settings. It depends also on the home server you're using as well. Do the MAS account options page let you change your settings?

Note that this is by design: since there are many clients, you don't want to trust the client entirely. So instead, your HS runs MAS, and you talk to it directly to change account settings.
