Reported in a review by @kureta, "When I add an album it adds all the albums with the same name. For example I have 2 albums with the name 'American Music'. one is contemporary music and the other one is blues."
Other filters, such as Artist or Genre, should be used, depending on the navigation context. The whole album should still be added, not, e.g., just portions with the same Genre tags when navigating by Artist.
MPDroid may well have addressed this since the fork point, as fairly radical playlist management changes have been made there which I haven't followed.
