[Feature] Negative offset

First of all, excellent plugin. It syncs immediately even changing measures mid-play.

Is there a way to add a negative offset?
Right now the offset can only be positive, but in my case I am transcribing multiple songs into the same sheet music so the VLC audio start mid-sheet music, with negative offset I can make the VLC start playing only when the sheet music section arrives.

An other example where this is a problem is for when transcribing a STAB choir section. Some of the voices start mid-song, so the section reference audio also starts mid-song, but without negative offset I can't sync the reference with MuseScore.

Thanks for reaching out. I may not fully understand. In your first case, are these separate files in VLC or one big file?

For the second case, here's what I understand.

Wouldn't it be aligned already with where you start the notation?

In the first case the songs are in a separate files and I want to merge them in a single sheet music

For the second case, it is the other way around. I would have separate files for each voice and the sheet music merges them

Each voice file doesn't need to play the entire song from the beginning so the VLC file is smaller than the whole song

In short, the VLC file starts mid-sheet music

So delayed start of the vlc file rather than seeking to a particular time in the vlc file. vlcSyncMicro doesn't currently support delayed start. I'll investigate adding that in the future. Right now, MuseScore's plugin api is a moving target with v4.6 and 5.0 on the horizon.

In the meantime, VidPlayVST supports delayed start (with any C note, which can be hidden in the score.) I highly recommend it. :)
