Track history of tab selections

If there are many tabs opened, it might be difficult to quickly navigate (find/remember) what were tabs which you were in before the current tabs. It would be useful to get some history of tabs which were selected. Probably there is no need to keep full history. However few (may be three) last selected tabs would be useful.

One of possible solution for the UI could be to highlight last selected tabs with different colors - e.g. green, amber and red.

another possible option could be to always order tabs so the order always represents the history...

Also it could be a setting which turns on the functionality only for users who wants to turn on such functionality
