Tags disappearing in notion when I make changes in Zotero

Hi! Every time I make any sort of change to an item in my Zotero, all of the tags I've manually added to my Notion database are deleted. This is a new change (have been using for 2 years with no such problem). I haven't added these tags in the Zotero interface, just my notion database.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to zotero
2. change any detail of a record (edit title, add to a new collection etc.)
3. Return to the same record in the notion database that is synced with notero
4. See that all previously added tags have disappeared :(

Expected behavior
Before recently, all of these tags remained safe despite updating the record in Zotero.

Hi @i2114, thanks for reaching out!

I believe the tag syncing functionality has been the same since its initial release in 2021, and it will always overwrite tags in Notion with the tags from Zotero if the Notion database property is named Tags.

Is your database property named Tags, and has it always been that way, or was it recently renamed from something else?

Hi! Sorry for the delay! Yes, I'm still experiencing the issue -- the Notion database property is named Tags, and has always been that way! If I rename the property in my Notion database, will this stop the overwriting?

Yes, if you change the property name to something other than Tags or any of the names in this list, Notero will not overwrite it.
