Enhance Sync Behavior: Auto-Update Annotations, Reflect Deletions, and Preserve Highlight Colors in Notion

Describe the issue

1. Note Deletion Sync Issue: Creating a note in Zotero successfully syncs to Notion. However, if the note is deleted in Zotero, the deletion is not reflected in Notion—even with a manual sync.

2. Manual Sync Required for Annotations: PDF annotations made within Zotero do not sync to Notion automatically. They only appear after manually selecting “Add Note from Annotations.” It would be much more seamless if these updates were reflected automatically without requiring this extra step.

3. Feature Request – Highlighted Notes View: It would be extremely helpful if annotations could be imported into Notion as their own dedicated column or page, preserving the original highlight colors from Zotero. This would improve readability and organization, especially for color-coded insights.
