Can you add a separate output node element? For example, to pull the remaining items from a storage with multiple inputs and output them as a final product.
Alternatively, the ability to mark a node's leftover products to be sent to the output instead of causing a chain recalculation would also work.

you can just set your fluid storage as primary goal and lock it it will try to fullfill the 800pm you have set

This doesn't solve anything. The product isn't visible as an output. Furthermore, this often breaks the balancing.

You can use bidirectional storage hack if you want leftover product on summary page. Storages also have recipe selector, to choose between source, target and bidirectional. I probably implement it better in new version, if I even finish it.
