Information model

This is for a single "Checklist" module that can be used across all application types.

Do we need to include the reason why this is required in the data that is passed around for the application?

I think the checklist could be used to reduce the amount of information requested - see my comment on the level above re not using the form as a checklist. What I meant by that is, it should not be a requirement to insert information provided elsewhere, thus the application itself is a duplication style checklist. I am less concerned with there being an actual checklist that can be quickly ticked through by professionals and might be useful for those who rarely submit applications. LPAs might be willing to lose the excessive dimensions requirements that I have commented on, if they can see that those completing the forms have been reminded to include the detail in their application generally.

The checklist module should be part of the applications specs. It is current part of

• Householder planning application
• Full planning permission
• Outline planning
• Reserved matters
• Planning permission for relevant demolition in a conservation area
• Listed building consent
• Advertising
• Lawful development certificate
• Prior approval
• Removal/variation of conditions (S73)
• Approval (discharge) of conditions
• Consent under TPO
• Non-material amendment
• Permission in principle
• Development relating to the onshore extraction of oil and gas
• Hedgerow removal notice
• Notification of proposed works to trees in a conservation area

If it is missing from an application type or part of an application when it shouldn't be then let us know and we can resolve.
