Explain data on the dataset details and dataset table tab

Problem

At the moment, it is not clear to a user that the data they are seeing within check and provide is transformed data. when we introduce the capability to break tasks down by endpoint, and will be showing users the data they have provided rather than transformed data, we will need there to be content to explain.

Explained the pages as above and why we will look to introduce this in advance of breaking down task list per endpoint.

There may be 2 versions of this content;

• There is one endpoint and the user is looking at their data (transformed)
• There are multiple endpoints and the transformed data will be a combination of these

Designers and devs met to discuss queries that are pulling data into the dataset details and dataset tables tab.

Confirmed that when there is any authoritative data provided by an LPA, the user will be shown all authoritative data that is on the platform. Data that the user is shown both on the map and in the table show transformed data that has been standardised when going through the pipeline. The field headings in the table are those from the data specification without the use of hyphens, so could also look different to what the user provided.

When there are multiple endpoints, a user will see a combined version of this data.

If the LPA has provided more than one endpoint the content beneath 'Active endpoints' should read:

You have [number of endpoints] endpoints we are currently checking for data. The information within dataset details includes data from all [number of endpoints] endpoints.

We need to better explain what is contain in the dataset table. If the LPA provides more than one endpoint we should show the content below;

About this data

We accept data in different formats and standardise it, so that we can combine it with data from other sources. This means the data we show might be in a different format to the data you provided. For example, we standardise all dates YYYY-MM-DD.

The information within this data is from all [number of endpoints] of your endpoints.

If the LPA has only one endpoint we should show the first paragraph only
