Simple question for Android TV

This app works wonderfully for Android Phones.
But when I installed this app on Android TV, the navigation is rather confusing. I installed the app with the help of Mouse and Keyboard. And then I deliberately disconnect my Mouse and Keyboard to only use the TV Remote control to navigate between channels.

It often not working as I would imagine from a regular TV Remote control. For example, the D-Pad buttons Up and Down should behave like Prev or Next channel. But it doesn't.

I even restarted my TV in case something wasn't fully configured. Didn't work

Thanks for the feedback! Earlier versions of the app D-pad navigation on Android TV was not fully polished and could feel unintuitive when using only a TV remote.

This has been completely reworked in the latest v1.4.0 release. The Android TV experience now includes proper D-pad navigation, improved focus handling, better remote control support, and more predictable channel/player navigation without requiring a mouse or keyboard.

If you're still experiencing any navigation issues after updating to v1.4.0, please let me know the exact device and Android TV version so I can investigate further.
