Thank you for your suggestion and for using the app!

The app already supports both DASH (MPD) and MPEG-DASH streams. In the latest v1.4.0 release, support has been improved significantly with the addition of quality selection for DASH and Smooth Streaming (MSS) streams.

Changes in v1.4.0 include:

• Added DASH and Smooth Streaming quality selection.
• Created a DASH quality parser that reads MPD manifests and extracts available video representations (resolution/bitrate) for the quality picker.
• Created a Smooth Streaming quality parser that reads ISML/ISMC manifests and extracts available quality levels.
• Added Media3 ExoPlayer Smooth Streaming support.
• Added .ism and .ismc MIME type mapping.
• Updated the player to automatically detect and parse DASH and MSS streams alongside existing HLS support.

If you have a specific DASH/MPD stream that is not working correctly, please share a sample URL and I'll be happy to investigate.

Still can't play mpd format with drm clearkey. The following is the URL and clearkey that I used for the test
