This is my first time using nesting software, so I may be missing something obvious. I am completely new to this type of tool, although I do have a fair amount of experience in CAM workflows.
Describe the bug
I installed Deepnest and it seems to run correctly. I am able to import part drawings without any issues.
However, the nesting process does not work as expected, the parts are not properly arranged on the sheet.
I created a very basic test case with simple shapes, the result is incorrect. The software does not generate a proper layout (nest) on the sheet.
I am attaching screenshots to better illustrate the issue and show the unexpected behavior.
Expected behavior
All parts should be placed inside the sheet boundaries and arranged in a rational, space-efficient layout, without leaving large unused areas.
