Activity Type in Experimental Rpc changes to Playing after updating

I have Experimental RPC set up for Plexamp, and it works perfectly... for the first track, and until I hit pause. It seems like any time the player state changes (to a new track, toggling play/pause) it falls back to the "playing" mode of reporting current active time. Additionally, when paused, it shows the raw placeholders instead of the correct values. This persists after playback is stopped and the app has exited.

I think this may be related, but I have encountered that "App Preferences" in Experimental RPC do not work in some apps, and defaults to "Playing", that is set by Custom Activity Type option (or rather, the "App Preferences" get overridden by Custom Activity Type).

For example, I have set "Listening" activity to OuterTune specifically, but when the Experimental RPC launches and fetches information, the RPC shows up as "Playing" instead. Another example is YouTube ReVanced, but it was slightly different. When the RPC launched, it showed "Watching" activity, which is the correct behaviour. But then, when you either pause or switch to a different video, it changes back to "Playing", which resembles the aforementioned issue.
