Items on the checklist do not appear in the Timeline

Hi there,

One of our Moodle users reported that while there is an options to add checklist items to the calendar, there is currently no option to add them to the timeline on the dashboard and they don't appear there by default either. Is this a feature that can potentially be added to this plugin in the future?

I've not looked into how the timeline functionality works.

I'd assume it is fairly straightforward, but I rarely work on Moodle plugins in my spare time (I work on them all day, so I tend to do other things outside of that).

I'd be happy to review a well-written fix for this (with automated test coverage + passing all Moodle codechecker checks), if you know someone who is able to write it.
