Unable to change transition dynamically

Can anyone tell me how to change transition dynamically, I am not able to figure it out.
I was barely able to understand how to use transition in wpaperd.

Hello @lielibert , thank you for the issue. To change transition type, you edit the configuration file:

[default]
path = "/home/danyspin97/Wallpapers"
duration = "30m"
sorting = "ascending"

[default.transition.hexagonalize]
# default values for hexagonalize
# steps = 50
# horizontal-hexagons = 20.0

You can replace hexagonalize with any transition name from the list you can find here. You don't need to restart wpaperd, the new transition will be applied automatically.

Thanks, got it, but for the change to happen I need to restart wpaperd, does some config or signal is required for it to work.
OS -> arch linux with hyprland

wpaperd should hot reload the config. If it doesn't work, then it's a bug.
