Wallpaper on vertical monitor is upside down after updating to Hyprland 0.53.0

My hyprland monitor configuration is monitor= DP-2, 2560x1440@144, -1440x-1120, 1, transform, 1, vrr, 0 However the wallpaper is upside down as in rotated 180 degrees from what the wallpaper should look like. All other landscape monitors display the wallpaper correctly. If this is a hyprland issue please let me know and I'll open an issue there instead.

all other application render normally on the screen, only the wallpaper is upside down.

Hello @cyvro @natsukashiixo , hyprland is getting the rendering wrong. If it works in sway, then it should work on all compositors that follows the spec. This is not the first time hyprland breaks wpaperd, I am considering adding a notice on the readme.

sadly not because atm the moment wpaperd fails to create the EGL Layer surface.

I can confirm that this issue still exists on hyperland 0.54.2
