Forgot password page error

Hi
I added some data to the database tables, but get user does not exist.
So i try t retrieve the password via forgot PW link, which then shows err as follows:

Application Execution Exception
Error Type: expression : 0
Error Messages: variable [EVENT] doesn't exist
