Thumbnailing needs to be re-implemented

* Any major file-type (pdf, png, jpg, docx, excel, etc) should be able to be converted to PNG and reduced in size to a typical thumbnail size, which thumbnail will be displayed in most situations where its respective item is being represented (esp. in grid-style item lists)
