enhancement request: allow shorter passwords

It would be great if password lenght would not have to be 10 characters as I do not need that security on a blog where only subscribers are allowed to register and where 10 characters is a usability downside as an effect. If there needs to be a minimum lenght, I would suggest lowering it to 5 characters
