I wanted to duplicate a block of code with some modifications, so after calling it down for editing (by pressing Esc) and doing the actual changes, I moved the highlight to the empty line below the block (which was followed by another block of code) and pressed Ctrl+Enter. The file on the SD card got changed correctly, but the rendering on the screen got confused. Had to exit with Ctrl + S and restart the editor.
