Optional limit scale-names to field-names

In a multi-field environment (more than one image field per content type) its annoying to have all scales for all fields.

In my scenario I have a content-type with a header-image and a teaser image. Teaser image is scaled to a scale named "teaser" only, while header image has 3 scales: "header_phone", header_tablet" and "header_screen".

I'd like to have an option to configure a mapping between DX-Behavior (i.e. "Teaser Image" or "Header Image"), fieldname and scale(s).

So I know this is a kind of letter to Santa Claus unless I implement it myself ;) But for documentation purposes, discussion and additional ideas from others I place it here.

i can imagine this gets less important if we place links on croppable images that open the cropping editor for the currently shown scale.

Even then it would make editors life easier if she/he only sees scales which are meaningful for the given field, right?

sure - "less important" does not mean useless. just wanted to let you and others know about these improvements as well.
the same is true for TinyMCE btw. i beliefe there should be a setting which p.a.imaging scales should be available in the image dialog (eventually different scales for different fields there, too - @santaclause wink)
