OC/CCD data comparison questions #4

Description

@cclatterbuck
  • For both Coastal Cleanup Day (CCD) and Ocean Conservancy (OC) data, are Take Out/Away Containers totaled as a part of Food Wrappers/Containers or are they kept separate? And, if separate, is it logical to combine them into Food Wrappers/Containers to be consistent with the CCD dataset that does not separate them?
    • In CCD data, Take Out/Away Containers are recorded as collected in 2013.
  • For OC data, understand what physical items that would be in Other tobacco (packaging, lighter, etc.) vs. all the other tobacco categories: Tobacco Packaging/Wrap, E-cigarettes, Cigarette lighters, Cigar Tips, Cigarette Butts. This is to understand whether any of these categories can be combined. For reference, the CCD data includes all of the OC categories except E-cigarettes and Other tobacco..., so would be good to make sure the Other tobacco... category doesn't overlap with any of the others.
  • For Coastal Cleanup Day (CCD) data, are Oil/Lube Bottles (which data collection ended after 2012) counted separately from Bleach/Cleaner Bottles/Other Plastic Bottles, e.g., neither is a TOTAL row? If so, I would want to combine the two categories to match the OC data category Other Plastic Bottles (oil, bleach, etc.).
