bug-mode/key bindings: how to add a comment?

In bug-mode/doc/manual.org, the key binding for "add comment" is marked as deprecated:

• c - add comment (deprecated, will be removed)

How to add a comment then? Navigate to the comments and hit "e" (edit the field near point, if editable)?

The reason this is marked deprecated is that it relies on bug-comment-mode, which relies on Bugzilla specific behaviour, and therefore only works with Bugzilla. Not all bug trackers have the concept of adding a 'comment' like Bugzilla has.

I don't know yet how to implement the update/edit bug comments functionality in a backend agnostic way - until I do this keybinding will stay to not break bugzilla.

Maybe it would seem worth adding a note to that extent to the documentation?

I've just added a sentence explaining this. Will keep this issue open, as adding comment editing for all backends needs to be added at some point.
