Classes and properties at the project level

Is it possible to associate classes and properties to the project information level or spaces or floors?

My idea is that I can add information to more abstract elements IfcBuilding, IfcFloor, IfcSpatialElement, IfcSpatialZone and so on.

This is currently not possible. We are investigating the space/spatial building structure (Site, combined building, building, unit (appartment), rooms) including correct values for floor area's, facade area's and volumes. We hope to have this added this year.
