V, the version tested is V1.2.2-Alpha3+55 built on 5/8 at 13:45:02.
Tested the 64bit Windows version under Win11 with the QMX+
1). Experienced a few times where adjusting the VFO by mouse wheel at the top of the display in the VFO area caused the QMX+ to go into scanning mode.
2). Sometimes when clicking in the VFO display at the top of the application window (to the left of the arrows), the adjustment is no longer possible by significant digit, and only the 1kHz changes with the mouse-wheel.
3). There is quite a difference in the effect of the STFT (short-time fourier transform) windowing function between Rectangular and Blackman, but not between Blackman and Nuttal in forming the Power Spectral Density (PSD) estimate which varies with time. Is Nuttal window function even implemented?
4). On the left, under display, FFT Hold, FFT Smoothing, SNR Smoothing do not seem to do anything.
5). Have not found a means in the FFT window to display the background noise level of the time-varying PSD estimate. Is that even possible with SDR++? It is with SDR Console, and NaP3. Have not tested HDSDR nor Quisk.
6). Not sure why this is happening, but 12kHz down from the frequency tuned, there seems to be a lot of phantom (?) energy in the STFT estimate of the PSD. Is this a consequence of how the IQ samples are being derived by the transceiver? Is this experienced by others?
