An enhancement that would be helpful would be to have a bit more granularity in the UI Scale Adjustment when using a tablet or phone. This would aid greatly use of the program with one's finger or stylus.
While tuning is improved, there still remains some VFO sync issues I cannot explain. As entered in the private feedback for the Playstore app, one should be able to adjust individual digits of the VFO, and have the QMX/QMX+ go there, rather than having multiple digits changed. Although the original program might not have supported this, a direct VFO entry dialog would be a nice add.
There should be a one button means to center the tuned frequency in the middle of the PSD in addition to sliding the frequency X axis of the PSD.
If the VFO mode with centering (bullseye) doesn't work, it should be hidden.
For bandwidth, ideally, we'd have a drop-down where common bandwidths could be selected (i.e. for AM, SSB, and CW). Direct entry is cumbersome. Further, there seems to be a bug, in that if one does enter a bandwidth by value, after hitting enter, the keyboard overlay isn't dismissed. That seems odd to me.
Some SDR programs (example HDSDR and SDR Console) provide selections for AGC like Fast, Medium and Slow. Was this ever considered for SDR++?
AM mode selection still does not work, but then I'm using V04.02 of the QMX/QMX+ firmware. AM was introduced in V04.01. When/how will this be introduced?
Noise reduction... We really should be able to select Baseband NR on/off. There are times one should disable NR. Does SDR++ provide a module for digital noise reduction? It should. There are a number of common NR algorithms without undue computational overhead. Reference the following GitHub for six different algorithms:
