[issue] Entering invincibility cheats after iddqd will reset degreeless mode after invincibility expires

While playing Doom, I noticed that getting the chainsaw and invincibility after entering the idchoppers cheat in-game can disable degreeless mode (iddqd) if it was enabled from before. This becomes apparent after the player's invincibility from idchoppers has been lost. Is this intended behavior or a bug?
EDIT: This also happens when using idbehold + v. Also, why doesn't the individual invincibility cheat expire like idchoppers?

It is intentional. But now that you bring it up, it might make sense to change that. I did this with all god, invincibility, buddha cheats: they cancel each other out, but might not be as intuitive as I thought.

Both idbeholdv and idchoppers don't expire by design. Are you sure idchoppers expires for you?

Yeah, it expires if acquired with idchoppers, but doesn't if gained from idbeholdv, which is how I realized it cancels degreeless mode.

Ah, now I understand. (Sorry, I thought you meant the invulnerability with idchoppers expires over time.) Yes, idchoppers gives you the chainsaw and invulnerability powerup, and I changed it so if you switch away from the chainsaw, the cheat cancels, so no more chainsaw, no more invulnerability.

Oh, I see. By "expires over time" you mean it ends when going to the next map rather than expiring after X seconds. I'll give more thought in what I want to happen here.

That’s ok. I’m not getting this though. I enter idchoppers and wait. It doesn’t run out after any period of waiting. Checking the power up metre in the alternate widescreen hud: that doesn’t go down. And checking the code, I can’t see where the invuln counter decreases to cause it to expire.

It'll run out after about 2 minutes in the 6.2 official release... weird...
