Doom2 expansion selection menu not showing with autoload ?

Doom 2 only.

If you have a known expansion WAD (nerve.wad, masterlevels.wad, ...) in the autoload/doom2 folder and start doomretro with the Doom 2 IWAD, you do not get the episode selection menu when choosing 'New game'.

However, if you start the expansion specifying it with -file, there is the episode selection menu.

Not sure how it is supposed to work, so I thought I'd report it.

Also can you confirm that the autoload folder is only for auto-loading known WAD and cannot autoload any arbitrary WAD ?
I think that this feature and folder would need a bit more explanation in the Wiki doc.

This is what should happen:
masterlevels.wad and nerve.wad are autoloaded in two ways:

1. if they are in the same folder as doom2.wad
2. if they are in autoload\ or autoload\doom2
   However, they won't be autoloaded if a PWAD is also loaded that contains one or more maps.

I've found some issues with this, though, which I'll fix.

The autoload folder/subfolders should work for any wad.

I cannot get autoload to work but only on Linux.
For example, launching doomretro with the Doom 2 IWAD and a PWAD in ~/.config/doomretro/autoload/doom2 results in the PWAD not loaded (I tried the Eviternity II WAD but it does not matter which one), despite the doomretro console stating that it will autoload in this folder (and its parent). It works on Windows.
