Alternative to grunt-express

As this repo isn't maintained anymore, what's the current favorite alternative? Ideally it would be a near drop-in replacement. Is it grunt-express-server?

I just switched from grunt-express to https://github.com/gruntjs/grunt-contrib-connect

It was more or less a drop-in replacement, only real change to the config was that grunt-express use an option called bases where grunt-contrib-connect use base

My usecase was just a very simple http-server to serve static files. But it seems grunt-contrib-connect have lots of options if you need something more advanced.
