Floating Buttons Feature #453

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
A clear and concise description of what the problem is. Ex. I'm always frustrated when [...]

The idea is to have a "Floating Buttons" option, like the soon-to-be-released Popups. I guess this would go under Beaver Builder, but it could equally be a Themer Layout.

The idea is to allow the user to design a floating box with a button inside and have settings to choose bottom left or bottom right, and how far from the bottom and side in px.

Then it would show a fixed box on the screen in that position.

In some ways, it's similar to popups, but just not a popup that blocks the screen, and can be closed, though being able to optionally close the floating box/button would be a good option to include.

Possibly, this could become part of the new pop-up feature.

Use cases:

Floating CTA box with a button like "Call Us" or "Book a Quote".

A floating WhatsApp button in the bottom left, clicking it opens a new tab and begins a new whatsapp conversation.

Build your own Cookie Notice box.

Describe the solution you'd like
A clear and concise description of what you want to happen.

I'd like to see a new menu option under either:

a) Dashboard > Beaver Builder
b) Dashboard > Beaver Builder > Themer Options (in Beaver Themer)
c) Dashboard > Beaver Builder > However the new popup feature is going to be nested.

Clicking it would allow you to create a template which would have additional settings to control the positioning as well as the usual suspects (which pages/post types etc).

Option to add a close button though most floating boxes and buttons don't offer this, it would be smart to include.

Describe alternatives you've considered
A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you've considered.

I have been making these for years but using a workaround.

  1. add a new box to the bottom of the global footer
  2. Give it a CSS class
  3. Add CSS to make the box fixed and position it with bottom and left.

Additional context
Add any other context or screenshots about the feature request here.

This could also be used to add floating notification bars.

I saw Elementor added this feature recently and I really liked it, though they have some limitations which are a bit daft and they force you to use one of their pre-built templates and the workaround to build your own from the ground up is annoying.

Here's their docs on the feature:
