Job time estimate is off

I was running an engraving job and rayforge was estimating the job at roughly 20 min. The job took actually more than double.

The job was a pretty straight forward engraving at 1500 mm/min one pass plus one perpendicular pass.

Happy to provide the file but I am pretty sure it can be replicated with any file.

The estimate is calculated using the cut/travel distance, taking the speed and your configured machine acceleration into account. If it is off, then it can only be caused by the acceleration value be wrong, or by your machine actually having a speed limit lower than what is configured in Rayforge. The formula contains nothing else that isn't mathematically perfect.

Thanks. It was probably an issue with acceleration. I updated the value and the time increased accordingly. Speed was not a problem. I still would like to check with the actual job because it went from 22 min to 32 min but I have the feeling it took more like 45-50.

Does the problem persist with Rayforge 1.8.0-beta2? This release includes improved estimations for beziers, which could be noticable in complex designs with lots of bezier curves.

The estimate on the same job is the same. I haven't had time to retest the real time yet. I will as soon as possible.
