Design vocab data input options

Design data entry options at website for:

• a word
• multiple words
• word/def pairs
• word/def lists

For example, copy/pasted plain text should be in what format? ...with drag/drop text file or other document to upload?

Was thinking ideally, type text in box to build list. Now looking to right click to highlight word in document to put word in category along with annotation notes.

Suggest we talk about this before coding the input(s) much further; explore what is essential in UI behaviours, work through several possible use cases for the tool to determine most likely work flows. The first use actual use case might happen as we approach large-scale word-list harvesting...feeding our warehouse. Edit: Another likely source of words will come with submit-URL for display-unique-words fxn (results in array of word-buttons, as you described).

I like it , first upload a database or word list and then click to add word to vocab. Scoop the water and then filter it

Have begun to write use cases for vocab. I suspect that the vocab input option that will

• appeal to most teachers
• be used most often in early days

...will be "submit URL and see [ all words unique to this page ] (for click-to-remove-from-list)
