Community pivot context

As of 2026-04-25, AXL Protocol pivoted to community-first stewardship. Diego Carranza is the founding steward (not corporate owner). Decisions go through a public RFC process. The protocol and the public tooling (Compress, Bridge, axl-core, axl-mcp-tools) are all Apache 2.0 and free in perpetuity.
