ACE 1.0 is a stable, open, provider-neutral personal Intelligence Operating System: one person can
build living, source-grounded, inspectable, governable, and adaptive intelligence without rebuilding
the infrastructure underneath it.
Public scope
- Stabilize the contracts required by the single-user lifecycle: connections, observations, entity
state, Signals, Shifts, Opportunities, Cases, Briefs, monitors, Ask ACE context, feedback, memory,
decisions, optional reviewed actions, outcomes, Domain Packs, connector boundaries, authority,
provenance, and receipts.
- Preserve domain-neutral Core and Intelligence layers, separately versioned product-owned packs and
connectors, optional Atrium and machine surfaces, portable durable intelligence, and explicit
human authority.
- Publish and reproduce clean installation, supported upgrade, compatibility, migration, backup,
restore, export, deletion, security, governance, deprecation, degraded-state, and breaking-change
policies for the documented local deployment.
- Demonstrate the complete continuously updating loop through public World and Market products plus
the generic Custom Intelligence path, using released artifacts rather than source checkouts or
UI-only prepared data.
- Freeze a reproducible install-to-first-Brief demo and operator-readable limitations statement.
Acceptance gate
Every contract needed by the supported single-user journey is reproducible from public artifacts. A
clean user can install ACE and a Domain Pack, launch Atrium, reach and reopen a cited first Brief,
observe a later update, inspect why it changed, ask a grounded question, correct relevance, and
recover owned state. The release has no hidden mutation, implicit execution authority, provider
lock-in, domain ontology in Core, or organizational ownership requirement.
Explicit boundary
Collaboration, organizations and teams, tenant isolation, shared workspaces, delegated
administration, multiplayer approvals, managed hosting, marketplace operation, hostile-extension
sandboxing, and distributed execution are post-1.0. ACE 1.0 is stable for the documented personal,
single-node topology; it does not claim enterprise-scale or distributed guarantees.
