With the current impl of the internal linking this is done by just repeatedly searching and replacing in the docstrings which is not very efficient. Currently we are just a pre-processor so it's not clear yet if we want to go for something more drastic like a Tera fork/PR (esp that last one is somewhat unlikely, I doubt that Tera is interested in this niche case but who knows)
