Generate static markdown reports?

A feature suggestion that would be cool, would be to generate static file reports in Markdown format that can be generated and stored in a docs or reports folder in the local repository.

This way the reports could be easily ingested and sent to documentation sites for display.

Report generation would definitely be useful. Do you have thoughts of what would be useful to include in the reports?

Implementation note: I feel like a report generator would be best implemented as a separate program that uses git-hammer as a library. That would also help drive improvements in the library API. Currently the library API is somewhat functional but not really designed in any way.
