there's armbian.imager by SuperKali, but it seems point to 1.2.4 release that no longer exists. given the current version is .4 ahead, it would be nice to have official support of that.

Hello, Winget support was added by a third party and it’s outside our planned release channels. We noticed, just like you, that Armbian Imager has appeared on Winget, but we did not request or publish it there. At the moment, we don’t know how the Winget listing is being managed or updated. Since we do multiple releases throughout the year, we’d like to avoid a situation where we have to repeatedly communicate every new release to Winget. For now, the official ways to get Armbian Imager are via GitHub or from https://imager.armbian.com/

Since we publish multiple releases over the year, we’d like to understand whether there’s a way to keep the package up to date without having to open a new PR for every single release.

NO, there's none.

The master branch of winget-pkgs has write access limitations to those privileged users known as "moderators". The branch also locked to forbid direct push. ALL commits should be submitted via pull request.

As you're the original publisher of this package, I would recommend automate this publish procedure via introducing WinGet Releaser. Pull request can be created automatically when you publish a new GitHub Releases.

If you only publish new releases outside GitHub, it's also possible to integrate Komac (recommended) / Tools/YamlCreate.ps1 / wingetcreate.exe and GitHub CLI to the CI/CD pipeline for automatically create pull requests.
