Assignment #1 improvements

Besides two tiny code-only nitpicks here that I noticed after I merged the original branch...

Here are some things that I think could improve the maps:

• The fonts overall are fairly small. Making them a bit larger could improve readability, but I'd need to be careful not to make things look too cluttered.
• 12 maps gets busy very quickly! Perhaps grouping by season might be a better way to visualize the temperature changes throughout the year.
• Maybe adding a min/max value on some of the maps themselves could help a viewer quickly notice which locations have the highs and lows at different times during the year.
• Maybe just one centered "Longitude" and "Latitude" title on the bottom and left sides would be sufficient; repeating each word per row/column seems a bit excessive (though it is nice that they're only on the left and bottom to begin with).

Another option to making it less busy is removing the lat/lon markers altogether.
