Possible to update SublimeText package?

Hello!

Thank you for releasing a Chocolatey package for Sublime Text 3!

Just yesterday, final version 3.0 was released:

But looking at the last time the package was updated and the version reported in Chocolatey page, seems the package might not get updated automatically.

Is possible for you to update it? Would you accept a PR if you're time limited?

Yeah I noticed ST3 released yesterday at work. Unfortunately my main issue about it is that I don't have access to a windows OS anymore. I need to see if I can build package from a linux box or if setting up a VM or a container would make more sense for that. I moved to another city as well as switched to a new company so I have a lot of stuff to learn and a lot of stuff to do.

You are totally correct, the build system wasn't automatic. Chocolatey changed a lot the prerequisites to build packages for its platform. Which is something painful for dev with limited time like me. So I am willing to give it a look, but from the above statements you can see that would take some time.

If you can contribute and submit a PR I am totally willing to merge it and push the new package. Feel free to fork it do whatever please you :) I started to maintain this package when I realized it wasn't maintained anymore. You can do the same as well :)

I completely understand your situation, as I've been in your shoes in the past (not literally, of course, hehe).

I've recently switched back to Windows (10 and WSL) for development, so might be able to tackle this without the need of a VM or anything like that.

I'll give it a shot this weekend and see what is necessary to setup with the new Chocolatey setup, hopefully will be able to get this running.

On a sidenote I am not using neither Windows neither Sublime Text anymore so I am not sure I can be much of a help.

However I logged in chocolatey and seems that I am not the owner of sublime text packages anymore.

Hi, I know you're not a maintainer of the ST3 package anymore, but the chocolatey package page is still pointing to your repo. I'd be glad to help to keep the package up to date and I already wrote to the current maintainer but got no answer yet. Do you have any suggestions on how to proceed? Should I create a PR to your repo with the recent updates? Thanks in advance!

Oh that's a shame you didn't have a response from the package's owner.
It's been a while I haven't followed up chocolatey as I am not owning a windows box anymore.

However I know that package had a huge traffic (which might have slowed down since vscode came out) but I am totally willing to find a way to keep it up to date.

PR are totally fine in the meantime.
If you are a repository all setup to take ownership maybe we should contact chocolatey admins to nominate you as the official package owner ?
