Describe the bug
I did the most recent update today and it just stopped working. I could hear the tone when I hit the shortcut to start recording but it wouldn't actually record. I looked in the settings briefly to try to figure out what's going on. But ultimately we just rolled back to the last version
Incidentally, I've had an issue for a while now where I record something, I see the transcription happening But it doesn't paste into the active text box. There's no rhyme or reason to this. Sometimes it does paste, other times it doesn't. Sometimes it pastes the first part after I release the key, but then I do a second part only touching the command key, which is the shortcut. And it doesn't paste into the same text box. The workaround is I have a shortcut to paste the last transcription in, but it would be nice if it just worked consistently
Reproduction steps
- Installed today's update
- Pressed the shortcut key and heard the tone, and spoke. I didn't see the live transcription box like I normally do, and when I released the shortcut key, nothing happened. I pressed my paste last transcription a shortcut and there wasn't anything in the clipboard.
- I rolled back to the previous version.
