I am trying to build these DVB-S drivers but when I do an insmod dmesg reports a missing reference to __gnu_mcount_nc This is the same problem someone else
was having with an Ethernet driver and appears to have something to do with FTRACE.
I am also unable to build the kernel from this repository as I get errors to do with
cannot open initramfs.cpio I have been building the drivers with a -i option

Now fixed - I didn't have the build environment properly set up
