Segmentation and tracking completed but nothing shows

Hi Austin,
I am trying to run Mitometer with R2020b recently updated and two toolkit added.
I input the time-lapse 2D image to have a test.
The app started runing and I could see my file's name on the right.
But when I clicked the "Select highlighted", I got error messages and there is no results.

Hello!

Did you click on your file's name before clicking "Select highlighted"?
Let me know if that doesn't solve your problem

Yes,I did it. But it's wrong as usual.
I tryed to capture part of my video, and input it. To my surprised it works and shows something in Segmentation and Tracks.
However when I clicked Create group, I got error messages.(I do as you mentationed in page10)

Hmm, weird, I usually only see this issue with the 2021 and 2022 versions of MATLAB.
Can you provide as much detail as possible on what your steps are leading up to this error?
If possible, can you provide a screenshot of the create group window that gives this error?

Here is the detailed steps I operated. I hope could solve the problem.
click APP --- start 2D --- input and strat calculating --- the file name appears at the right --- select the file name --- click "Select highlishted" --- I could see something at “Segment” and "Tracks" --- click "Create group" at "Analysis" column --- show Loading at lower right corner then it keeps and do not move

I'm running Mitometer in R2020b and have exactly the same problem as reported previously by Xuebq, when I'm trying to analyze two pictures from two groups. After choosing the pic by clicking "select highlighted", waiting for about half a minute, clicking the "create group", renaming the group and clicking the "create group", shown as below:

and then the matlab shows:

Besides, in the "Tracks" section, when I click the "save" button after checking the pic shown in the app, the app shows error also, shown as below:

These problems have bothered me for a while. I really wish to get the response from you.

In relation to the original problem of “holdAllTemp”, it appears MATLAB (at least in the 2020a version) deletes variables or temporary files if they go over 2GB. To fix this you will need to change the MAT-file save format to MATLAB version 7.3 or later (by default this was set to 7…) by going to Home -> Preferences (in Environment) -> General -> MAT-Files (see attached image):

As a side note, I can now process 2D Timelapse microscopy images of 1000 frames imaged at intervals of 0.5 seconds with a resolution of 0.2167. The system has 64GB RAM and is the max number of frames/events I can process. Temp files/variables end up being approx. 22GB.
