Comparison of different Codex web/phone solutions

Seems that, just like farfield, it's using codex harness via their local API servers, which is great
Web/mobile first

Yeah I gave T3 Code a shot as well! It looks great, though I couldn't get it to work remotely (messages don't seem to go through from mobile; probably just a bug)

I think their approach is a little different, as it seems to run its own Codex app-server internally, so it doesn't interact as nicely with Codex app (threads and state don't sync)

Theo probably has more time and more of a community to support it than I do, so hope it becomes a great solution! I'll keep doing maintenance work on Farfield whenever I have time away from my day job :)

Yeah, I've had issues with remote also. Currently all works on @latest

As for sharing the app server with existing codex - I agree that it'd be better. I do think it should be the default, or at least configurable. Could be the case later

Might try to clone and rewire it

In any case I think after some time it'll be a good base to fork if the functionality won't have everything I need to have

One more adjacent path for this comparison: Faryo https://github.com/Snailflyer/faryo. It stays below the Codex app-server / Codex.app thread-sync layer: the host keeps Codex, Claude Code, or shell inside a live tmux session, and the phone/browser only does compact output, short input, approve/interrupt, and handoff. So it will not solve Codex.app history sync, but it is a narrower answer to “I want to keep controlling the same live terminal process from my phone.”
