I also noticed that when running in headless mode using "-no-session" it would not write any files. Running interactively did create the files. |

Installed .deb on Ubuntu > added API key for provider > created a XYZ project folder and addded it as path in Goose > started description of project I would like to create > asked for creation of the FS structure and files (the code is already in the chat session).
Mode is autonomous.
Model response is usually like ~ "I'll create the XYZ file for your project. Let me build it with all the sections you requested."
And that is all.
Yet in the dir there is nothing. I assume as reading this in FAQ, the capability is there.
No user is created for Goose that I can add permission for folder to him. It's me running it and the folders belong to myself as the logged user.
Assuming this function should be model API/independent.
Goose is 1.25.0, MCP Filesystem Extension is installed.
Didn't find anything in the settings, yet it's possible I missed something. So asking here what else should be checked?
