Let me upload information directly to a11yhood

I feel like I'm going to be putting a lot of effort into building a shadow database for our bit of A11yhood.

If I could upload images to a11yhood, then I could avoid having to put information into two places and avoid having to build an entire CMS.
My team of librarian / cataloguers and interns could then work directly in A11yhood, linking to our source books on archive.org.

This would actually be better for us than trying to make a11yhood display PDFs.

I am looking into this, and I think the best way to do it would be to add a database that takes images. This requires adding to both the backend and frontend system. I'm exploring the implications for our deployment. Would we need to be able to upload PDFS? Or just images?

Also, can we give everyone involved moderator accounts? That significantly reduces a bunch of security concerns.

I'm going to play around with something more automated on my end that might be able to split up our PDFs, text, and convert images. Let me see what I can make.
