26+ xcodes are duplicated

It looks related to architecture - I see M4 tag for one of duplicates, and it also says Install Apple Silicon/Install Universal, other than that the pages are identical.

I clicked Install on Apple Silicon but it shows progress for Universal.

And when I installed Xcode 26, it shows installed for both variants

I see it on the CLI as well. xcodes list prints the same version twice for Xcode 26+

This duplication is because of Universal versus arm64, right? We should probably show and support selecting the variants.

I have no idea what we're talking about, but this is still happening in latest. The new icon looks awesome though!

That little "M4" icon is saying it's an arm64 only variant. So part of the issue is fixed. I would say the double "Open" is an issue, it should try to detect which variant the installed version is.

@brentleyjones while I hadn't noticed the little icon, the fact that you're always doing operations on both makes it a bug. Which is what you said. I'm just not sure you're able to install one or the other from Xcodes currently.
