there is hh for 12h format with leading 0, and h for 12h without leading zero, HH and H behave similarly.

Why not make w+x and W+x also have a ww+x and WW+x?

I would prefer to close this issue for three reasons:

• adding this change would either break existing formats or confuse users because w±x defaults to two digit hours while formats like "h" require "hh" to do the same. So w±x would be the opposite.
• it's not of much use to work on w±x when a better replacement is needed. See Alternate time zone can not use a different format #32 and related issues.
• there are complications since "w" and "W" also exist.. (Week related)

Though, one might consider to adjust the format like this: w±x (single digit) w±xx (double digit) This would also reflect the T-Clock Help.rtf's example w+05. It might still break some older formats but they never followed the documentation anyway :P
