I think we need to expand the VariableSpecificCV definition to also include unit (e.g., csf) and aggregation.statistic (e.g., average). While those are metadata that can be queried, VariableSpecificCV is meant to be an encapsulation of the unique time series data at a site to ensure that users are seeing all the critical metadata that define the time series at that site. I hope the VariableSpecificCV is long enough to handle all this. Let's discuss if needed.

I was looking at New Mexico site-specific time series data and couldn't quickly tell if it was in CSF or AF and if it was average daily or cumulative daily values. Here is a list of all VariableSpecificCV for this time series data
