In terms of playing haptic effects, although I haven't tried this, I'm guessing Safari doesn't care whether a switch was flipped by a trusted user gesture or not, which seems unintentional, so I personally wouldn't use or depend on this behavior in a production site—it's possible it will be patched. It's still cool and worth playing around with, though.

After this, it's possible Apple will add some sort of haptic feedback interface to Safari, even if it's not as convenient as navigator.vibrate.
