Suggestion: Add option to prevent armor and weapons from degrading in Arena plots

Suggesting this because a lot of people on my server seem to duel in Arenas on the server, it would make sense if Armor didn't degrade in these arenas because of how people burn through sets so fast, to the point where they have to grind for them again.

Obviously this would be disabled when PvP is enabled in an entire town, and when a siege is active.

I'm not really sure if this is easily implementable in a non-exploitable way. If we cancelled all durability changes then a player could just set the plot they're in to arena and get everlasting items for general use.

I have been trying to think up a way that the above exploit isn't abused.

After TownyAdvanced/Towny#5742 is done it might be possible to limit Arena plots per town. ATM its only something you can limit with prohibitive costs to set the Arena plot type.

Some ideas:

• Could affect only armour and swords but not other items?
• During any war situation you wouldn't want people doing this....maybe it only works if the fighters are allies?
• What about potions?. People might want to demo their pot skills?

Oh! here's an idea

• Instead of messing around with the player's current equipment....
• How about allow them to access a temporary arena-only set, once they are in an arena plot.
• Naturally this set & equipment would have to disappear once they left the arena plot.
• Also in the interests of fairness in duels:
  • The player somehow shouldn't be able to use their existing equipment
  • It would have to be made clear to all nearby, who had reset/refreshed their arena set

That is pretty standard fare for arena plugins as far as I remember. I used to do something like that in my spawn cities' arenas.

Oh cool. When you did that, did you use custom Towny code or a 3rd party plugin ?

I am not familiar with Arena plugins these days but I would assume at least one has to support arena plots. I doubt you want to build a whole arena system into TownyCombat. Maybe someone will fund the development of a TownyArena plugin.
